The long skirt comes off to reveal the shorter dress underneath.  Very pretty on!  :) 

Ideas and such

The place.... maybe!

Here is the amphitheatre.  This is one of my favorite spots on campus and would be a very nice, shady spot for a vow or two. 

And here's the gazebo, which we'll turn into the dance floor if we can't find a reception hall.

Cupcakes and Ice Cream

Virginia Tech Cupcakes and Nathan's Dairy Bar soft serve ice cream (we get to choose a selection of like 7 flavors and everyone can get as much in as many combinations as they want).  I thought for pictures, it would be adorable to have everyone lined up to order, leaning on the counter - espeically all the bridesmaids and groomsmen.

This is for the grandparent's/parents wedding pictures/memories kind of table - thought it was cute

I love this for the kid's tables!

This is okay as a backup - or maybe on the ends of the table for food or cupcakes?  Something like that? 

Bridesmaids

I don't have an exact picture of what I want this to be.  I like the idea of everyone wearing different dresses with similar colors and I love that it's not going to be made of satin and all shiny and bridesmaid-ey.  I want it to be something that reflects their style that they'll wear some other time - for real for real, not 27 dresses for "real."  I want them to be short like mine and kind of have the vintage feel of mine, but that's about it.
